THUNDER BAY – Any young person in Thunder Bay claiming there isn’t much to do, isn’t checking out what all is happening in the city. This week, the Superior Youth Festival in on. This is Thunder Bay’s only youth music festival.
Now in its 5th year, the 2011 lineup boasts its biggest lineup yet; with special headliners The Sheepdogs from Saskatoon, SK (southern soul rockers that are currently on the cover of the August issue of Rolling Stone magazine).
Also performing will be Maraday Park, Drive, Concepts, Down Converter and Trevor Potts, as well as 4 ‘inbetween’ performances. The festival also features an artisan market, community group booths, food concessions, a ‘youth zone’ featuring lasertag, a graffiti wall, collaborative art spaces and prizes throughout the night.
