Hillcrest High SchoolTHUNDER BAY – Its not Hillcrest High School anymore. In a very positive move for fostering new ideas, the long-time iconic structure is now the Thunder Bay Centre for Change.

Sandi Boucher, the manager states, “Today yet another dream was realized. It started with a tour of an old, much loved building, then an inspiration developed into an idea, from there a plan brought about the creation of the Thunder Bay Centre of Change! Keys are in hand, preparation has started and soon the building will once again be alive with planning and preparing for an amazing shared future for the occupants and all who come out to enjoy this great old building!”

As the former High School comes together, it will foster new businesses, not-for-profits and other worthy efforts in the City of Thunder Bay.

The Thunder Bay Centre for Change is just another very visible demonstration that this community is changing.

Port Arthur Collegiate will be the new Lakehead University School of Law, and now Hillcrest High School will be a place to serve as a beacon of change in our city.

It is a fitting use of both facilities.
