Thunder Bay – Rescue of the Week – Meeka is a 12 month old Boxer/Retriever.
She is up to date on all of her vaccines including the parvovirus vaccine, distemper, rabies, adenovirus, parainfluenza. She’s had 2 de-wormings and is parasite free.
She comes with a certificate of rabies vaccination, rabies tag, complete health record and receipts for all procedures.
Meeka is currently our foster dog, and is the biggest sweetheart we’ve met. She is very, very puppy like, human friendly, not food aggressive and shares all of her bones/toys with other dogs.
Meeka could use work on walking and bark control.
When walking she does not pull or dart, but she does walk in the direction she’s looking. She tends to bark at other people/dogs she sees on the street, and she’ll persist until she gets to meet them.
Meeka is a friendly, very lady like dog that just wants to find her forever home. She’s good with cats, other dogs and children as she came from a house with a young boy.
