Thunder Bay Team Embarks on “Feed my Soul” Tour

THUNDER BAY – A Thunder Bay team is on a drive eastward to promote food banks. Today, Kia Canada Inc. welcomed Dee Jaroway, Dee Rock from the Rock 94 Morning Show in Thunder Bay, Ontario, to the company headquarters in Mississauga, Ontario, today during her two week “Feed My Soul” food drive. The drive is in support all KCI employees donated non-perishable food items to aid local food banks.

“We are happy to support Dee Jaroway’s mission to help communities through a cross-country food drive in her brand-new 2011 Kia Soul,” said Maria Soklis, Vice President & Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Kia Canada Inc. “This initiative truly aligns itself with Kia Canada’s commitment to Drive Change,” she added. Kia Canada will be officially celebrating its 1st annual Kia Drive Change Day nationally on August 21, 2011.

Jaroway won the opportunity to conduct a national food drive through the Kia Motors’ International Facebook contest.

Kia Motors challenged participants to explain what they would do if they were to win a brand-new 2011 Kia Soul SX. On her travels she is joined by Thunder Bay Source Editor, Leith Dunick, former Thunder Bay Television News anchor Lindsay Arnone-Fron, and Confederation College graduate Jenna Dumas.

Together, they will travel from Thunder Bay, Ontario and make the following city stops along the way including visits to Kia dealers in these areas.

August 2nd in Montreal, QC
August 3rd in Ottawa, ON
August 4th in Quebec City, QC
August 5th in Fredericton, NB
August 6th in Moncton, NB

August 15th in Thunder Bay, ON
