THUNDER BAY – Thank you Thunder Bay! Over the past several weeks as the “New” NetNewsledger.com has continued to evolve and grow; your support, and generous patience has been amazing. Traffic on the site has doubled, and there are a growing number of new, and daily returning visitors. If you like what you see, tell a friend, join us on Facebook and Twitter.
Our analysis of web stats is telling us readers are liking what is happening. It is encouraging and exciting. From your comments, it is obvious many of you feel the same way.
It has not all been super smooth sailing. There have been a few times when little glitches have occured as we continue our live launch of the updated site. Thank you for your patience when those happen. It is one of the joys of our “NASA Approach”. However we believe it is a way to test and to further engage you, our readers on what you like, and on what you want to see on your NetNetnewsledger.com. Over the weekend the site was “glitchy” on Sunday for a while, we were installing some new plug-ins and they were causing issue at first.
We are in the middle of several upgrades, and additions that will be coming together over coming weeks. Right now, only about twenty per cent of the work we are doing is complete. There is a lot more to come. Our goal is simple, the fastest growing news and entertainment site in the Thunder Bay Region.
If you notice something on the site, you think we should do, or something that you would like added, please contact us at newsroom@netnewsledger.com.
Your comments are inspiring us as well. Thank you to the several people who have told us, and others how much they like the “Sexy ‘NEW’ Netnewsledger”.
Several of the changes being made over the past week are all internal changes. Style-sheets are being consolidated, files are being consolidated, and the site is getting much faster. All of that will make for a more enjoyable online experience for you, our visitors.
Our entire team is working to build a better NetNewsledger.com. The goals are set, your comments and encouragement are helping, and the work is continuing. The Urban Boutique team is simply amazing, and helping in ways one never thought could be done. Simply incredible!
Thunder Bay’s best days are ahead of our city, and it is our goal to be there to share the good news and positive ideas. Our region’s future is in the hands of the youth, young people like Cuyler and Kylie who stop by and take over the news desk at NetNewsledger.com from time to time.
In all we do in Thunder Bay, much of the work should be with a solid eye to the future, and to what will build a more solid future for our community.
