Mackenzie gets ready for her first dance

HELEN LAKE – Looking for something exciting to do this weekend. Helen Lake First Nation are hosting the Opwaaganisiniing 21st Annual Pow Wow. The event runs from July 15th to 17th with the Grand Entry on Saturday at 1PM and 7PM and on Sunday at 12PM.

The Master of Ceremonies is Dave Simard. The Arena Directors are Phil Wawia and Todd Genno.

The drum split is $15,000.00 with prizes for the dancers as well.

There will also be food vendors and craft tables on site to add to your enjoyment.
