THUNDER BAY – We are members of the Zero Waste Action Team (ZWAT) and Earth Wise Thunder Bay. We are actively encouraging businesses and community members to stop using disposable plastics and Styrofoam, and use more eco-friendly alternatives.
We sell biodegradable and compostable plates, cups, lids, spoons, forks, knives, stir sticks, straws. clam shells(take-out containers), bowls, dog-doo bags, lunch bags, loots bags, and Party sets for special occasions. Our products are 100% biodegradable and compostable, and are made of cornstarch or sugarcane. Sugarcane replaces Styrofoam, holds liquids/solids with a heat rating of 220F. Fridge, freezer and microwave safe.
Cornstarch can be washed and re-used, and holds liquids/solids with a heat rating of 105F.
We also sell collapsible shopping boxes, which are used instead of shopping bags. One box can hold up to the equivalent of 10 bags, and it rolls on 2 wheels. You can shop for anything you like and still walk or take public transit.
