Shift NetworkTHUNDER BAY – SHIFT Thunder Bay’s Young Professional Network will be hosting a fun BBQ and networking event on Thursday June 9th, 2011 at the Avila Center, LU (enter from Reaume Street off of Central Ave). The event has been sponsored by the Alumni Association of Lakehead University. Symposium will take place from 5:00 to 5:30pm, followed by presentations from Lakehead University. BBQ commences at 5:45, and at 6:30 the City will lead a session on the Multiplex. The price per ticket is $5 per person, and can be picked up at the Chamber of Commerce, or the RBC on Edward/Redwood. Tickets are limited. All proceeds will be donated to an LU Scholarship/Bursary. A representative from Lakehead University will also be speaking.

SHIFT is Thunder Bay’s home for young-minded professionals who understand that moving their community forward means more than just doing business. It’s the big picture, from social and environmental concerns to personal professional development. Together, we can move forward.
