Sunday March 13

Thunder Bay Wheelchair Association

Description: Wheelchair Curling requires volunteers for on ice assistance, (knowledge of curling not essential) Volunteers would help push wheelchairs, positioning rocks, assisting players with setting up their shots. Volunteers should be 14 or older.

Location: Fort William Curling Club

Time: 3pm-5:45pm

Tuesday March 15

Organization: Volunteer Thunder Bay

Description: Volunteer Thunder Bay will be visiting the Shelter House to assist with sweeping, mopping, window cleaning, sorting food in dry food storage and cleaning shelves.

Location: Shelter House (use back of the building entrance near the parking lot)

Time: 10am-1pm

Wednesday March 16

Organization: Volunteer Thunder Bay

Description: Currently Volunteer Thunder Bay is seeking multiple youth to represent a Youth Advisory Committee specifically designed for the ChangeTheWorld Ontario Youth Challenge. This is a great opportunity to help the youth of Thunder Bay seek fun volunteer opportunities and to boot it looks great on a resume I would like at least 2 representatives from each high school to assist with in school promoting

Location: Volunteer Thunder Bay Office (125 Syndicate S located in Victoriaville Mall across the Quality Market Entrance)

Time: 12:30-2pm

Thursday March 17

Organization: Canadian Cancer Society

Description: Volunteers are needed to help prepare “Team Captain” kits for the Relay for life. The packages include all the information needed for the day of the event being held Friday June 17 at the Fort William Historical Park

Location: Canadian Cancer Society Office- 920 Tungsten St

Time: 10am-1pm
