Snow is in the forecast for January 23-24th

THUNDER BAY – It is another day of snow. Environment Canada is predicting another 5cm of the white stuff today. For those residents of Thunder Bay who are getting tired of winter, it might be worth noting that just west of the city, in Winnipeg the temperature this morning is -26c. The high in Thunder Bay today will be -3c.

The snowfall has not impacted school buses in the region. All buses are on time. However in the City of Thunder Bay it is suggested that drivers take a little extra caution today as students may be walking on roadways, as sidewalk plowing is still underway.

The forecast through the week is calling for warmer weather, with temperatures climbing above the freezing mark.
