TBPS Inspector Faces Charges

Breaking NewsTHUNDER BAY – An Inspector with the Thunder Bay Police Service has been charged under the Police Services Act with two charges of Misconduct relating to an allegation of Neglect of Duty. Inspector Dan Taddeo was charged and suspended on January 28, 2011.

The Police Services Act charges against Inspector Taddeo relate to the supervision of a subordinate. The investigation was conducted by the Toronto Police Service Professional Standards Unit at the request of Chief Herman.

A first appearance date for Inspector Taddeo will be February 16, 2011.   After that appearance, particulars of the charges will be made public according to the Thunder Bay Police Service.
