THUNDER BAY – Thunder Bay Insurance Services Ltd. (TBI) was presented the Insurance Brokers Association of Ontario’s (IBAO) 2010 Brokerage Award of Excellence during IBAO’s 90th Annual Convention held recently in Niagara Falls. “We, the ownership group, are extremely honoured to receive this award in recognition of the amazing efforts of all our staff this past year,” stated David Baxter, CEO of TBI. “We are always working as a team and we are very proud of the dedication and commitment put forth to help the various charities and organizations in Thunder Bay and Northwestern Ontario.”
TBI supports many local organizations and clubs through donations and sponsorships, such as the St. Joseph’s Foundation Golf Classic, this year marking TBI’s 5th year as a platinum sponsor. In addition to sponsorships, TBI proudly works with the Habitat for Humanity in fundraising efforts to complete their goal of building a home by 2016. For the second consecutive year, TBI has participated in the Adopt-A-Road Program, whose efforts are directed towards cleaning up road sides and maintaining a clean and green Thunder Bay.
