THUNDER BAY – The Thunder Bay Chill would like to congratulate Anna Maclean and Ashlyn Cook for their selection onto the Ontario Provincial team. Both girls are members of the Thunder Bay Chill Select Female team, coached by Brent Mandryk. In the past year the girls have also been selected to train with the Ontario Soccer Association’s Regional team coached by Dave Colistro, where they competed in several Provincial events.
In October, Provincial Coach Bryan Rosenfeld selected Maclean and Cook to be part of the provincial roster, and they competed in the Ontario Regional tournament, held at the Soccer Center in Vaughn, Ontario. The U14 Girls Provincial team will train and prepare for competition in Spain during the spring of 2011.
Olivia Colosimo, who is presently playing college soccer at Butler University and is a part of the Canadian National Training Center program, was the last female player from Thunder Bay that was selected to the Provincial team.
