THUNDER BAY – The Thunder Bay Police Service are getting ready for Halloween Night. “As the ghosts and goblins prepare for a Sunday night out of trick or treating, the Thunder Bay Police Service has a few reminders for the public.
“Motorists should drive with caution and watch out for pedestrians. Children will often dart out as they cross the street”.
Here are some common sense safety rules from the TBPS:
• Small children should never go out alone
• Costumes should not impair a child’s vision
• Costumes or treat bags should have reflective material as part of their design
• Visit houses you know
• Check over your kid’s treats before they eat them
• Travel in a supervised group
• Use caution when crossing the street
