THUNDER BAY – “On behalf of the Thunder Bay Chamber of Commerce membership and Board of Directors, we express our sincere congratulations to all the elected members of City Council in yesterday’s municipal election,” enthused Harold Wilson, President of the Chamber of Commerce.
“We look forward to our renewed City Council providing the visionary leadership that encourages business to grow and offers a long-term commitment to making the municipality open to new opportunities,” continued Wilson. “The Thunder Bay Chamber of Commerce, as the Voice of Business in Thunder Bay, will continue to build on the strong relationship that had been established with Mayor Peterson and the previous City Council.”
The Chamber hopes to meet with Mayor Elect Hobbs at an early opportunity to establish an effective working relationship. The Chamber is pleased to offer its broad knowledge of business and community affairs as a resource to assist members of city council in the next four years. There is, without a doubt, the continued need for everyone, including community organizations to work together and create partnerships and build a strong Thunder Bay.
