THUNDER BAY – Candidate At-Large Ken Boshcoff confirmed today that he would not support a continuance of the Hospital Tax Surcharge. “As Mayor of Thunder Bay when this began I gave my word that this would only be a 10 year program and only for the hospital,” stated Boshcoff.

“This was supported by the community and resulted in us convincing the provincial government that the people and their council were solidly behind the construction of a new Regional Health Sciences facility,” added Boshcoff.

“Beyond all of this evidence, citizens and businesses deserve a bit of a tax break,” contined Boshcoff.
