THUNDER BAY – Wasaya Airways LP is pleased to announce the increase of their free baggage allowance from 35lbs (15.8kgs) to 70lbs (31.8kgs) on all scheduled passenger service flights.

It was less then a week ago when Wasaya Airways LP CEO/President Tom Morris announced the addition of a new Dash 8 aircraft to their fleet and their plans to incorporate yet another Dash 8 to further meet the needs of Wasaya’s ever growing clientele. Yet again, Wasaya Airways is continuing their new development plan by increasing the free baggage allowance on their scheduled flight services. Tom Morris, President/CEO of Wasaya Airways states “We are completely dedicated to meeting the needs of our clientele and making travel to your desired destination as smooth as possible”.
Wasaya’s free baggage allowance is two pieces of checked-in baggage and one piece of carry-on up to 70lb (31.8kgs) which is quite extensive in comparison to many other airlines. Any checked excess baggage over the 70lbs (31.8kgs) will be assessed, priced and accommodated by a Wasaya Airways agent up to 100 lbs per fare-paying passenger (70lbs free, 30lbs excess).
Any additional baggage may also be accommodated, space permitting, as cargo.
Wasaya Airways is striving to become the leading provider of air transportation services throughout Northern Ontario. The company is dedicated to delivering opportunities for growth to the communities which they serve.
Morris says “Wasaya Airways is committed to superb customer service as we want to make your travels as efficient and convenient as possible.”
Wasaya is an active partner in the development of business, education, healthcare, and recreation programs for youth while economically enhancing it’s partner communities. Wasaya will continually raise the bar improving aviation services, fulfilling its earnest commitment to the development of economic opportunities for remote and rural communities throughout the North.
A complete review of the tariff with respect to baggage can be viewed on the Wasaya Airways LP website at: www.wasaya.com under the Scheduled Passenger Service link on the menu.
