Plan to Attend Paterson Sailors Memorial Park Re-Dedication

THUNDER BAY – “Paterson Sailors Memorial Park”, once a well-known land-mark in Thunder Bay, has been brought back to life and will be formally re-introduced to the public and re-dedicated to merchant seafarers in a ceremony taking place tonight.
The re-introduction and re-dedication of the park will last approximately 35 – 40 minutes.  Highlights of the ceremony will include a new monument being unveiled as well as new signage being unveiled.  We are expecting approximately 100 people to attend the function, including many high ranking navel officers and commanders from Thunder Bay and surrounding area.
Afterwards, there will be a reception at the Westfort Prosvita with free food and refreshments.
