Aldo RubertoTHUNDER BAY – “I signed up to run again for the position of Councillor at Large for the great city of Thunder Bay,” states Aldo Ruberto. “Four years have gone by in a nano second. I am looking forward to serving another four years if the good citizens of Thunder Bay re-elect me”.
Ruberto was elected for his first term as Councillor at Large in 2007.
Ruberto says, “I love this city and its people and believe we are headed in the right direction. We need to complete the recreational trail system, build a multiplex and complete the waterfront development just to mention a few projects, if we are to move forward as a progressive, vibrant city”.
Ruberto’s announcement was also placed on the Councillor’s Facebook page, rather than in a standard press release. Perhaps a demonstration of how social networking in Thunder Bay is continuing to gain importance. On Facebook alone there are over 50,000 subscribers within 50 kilometres of the city.
