Thunder Bay Chill Continue Strong Start

THUNDER BAY – The Thunder Bay Chill continued their strong start to the season by defeating their long time rivals the Des Moines Menace in a lopsided 7-2 victory. Brandon Swartzendruber led the way for the Chill with three goals and an assist, in front of a crowd of 735 screaming fans at Chapples Park, Thunder Bay.

Chill Head Coach Tony Colistro was pleased with how his team started the game; “We wanted to come at them right away, and Rafa (Heck) really set the tone, and that was key.” “Tomorrow will be a totally different game, we need to come out even stronger,” said Colistro about Saturday night’s rematch. The second game of the series will take place on Saturday, June 19^th, 2010 at 7:30 (EDT) at Chapples Park.
