Expect A Wild Night of Wrestling in Thunder Bay

THUNDER BAY – At the Prince Arthur Hotel on Friday afternoon, there was a press conference scheduled, but it turned into a Texas bar-room brawl. Hannibal who is scheduled to take on seven foot tall Kevin Nash in a match refereed by wrestling legend Terry Funk decided to send a message to his opponent.

Hannibal tore into Funk, calling him down as having “no class” which the wrestler said was “just like people in Thunder Bay”.

From that point the press conference offered a taste of what tonight’s wrestling card will offer, unbridled mayhem.

On the card tonight, which starts at 7:30 at the Fort William Gardens, Vampiro will face Vinny Glyde who will be accompanied to the ring by the brunette bombshell Dee from Rock 94.

Glyde demanded that the card be changed so that he could face Vampiro. Apparently Glyde who is styled as “Canada’s King of Media” is offended that Vampiro missed several interviews, and believes he is not showing the proper respect as a professional.

Jeremy Prophet will take on Lanny “The Genius” Poffo in a match where Prophet will have the challenge of a more experienced opponent who will bring his own cheering section to the Fort William Gardens.

Members of the Boys and Girls Club of Thunder Bay were treated to an afternoon with Poffo on Friday that featured poems, a positive message, and a demonstration of wrestling.

Tickets for the Wrestling Supershow are on sale at the Fort William Gardens right up to start time of the event. The key for Thunder Bay wrestling fans is not to be wondering on Sunday morning why they missed this exciting card.
