Thunder BayTHUNDER BAY – Tonight, at the Italian Hall on Algoma, your input into a proposed multiplex for Thunder Bay is needed. City Administration will be on hand to listen to you. If you can not attend in person, NetNewsledger.com, Morvision, and the City of Thunder Bay are working together to live-stream the event on the Internet allowing you to participate as well.

The Open House/Community Workshop on a proposed Thunder Bay Multipurpose Event Centre taking place tonight at The Italian Cultural Centre from 6:30 pm to 9 pm will be available through a live video stream for residents who can’t attend.

A survey is also available at www.thunderbay.ca/RenewTBay to give residents another opportunity to give their input.

The City is looking for citizens’ views, comments and suggestions on key questions and to discuss success criteria for a proposed Multipurpose Event Centre. Comments provided before June 4 will be included in a report to City Council.

“This request for early input will help set the stage for the detailed feasibility study,” said Mayor Lynn Peterson. “We want to involve citizens before designing the terms of reference of the study so that it is responsive to their needs and incorporates their questions and suggestions.”

The second of two Open House/Community Workshops will have a presentation at 7 pm, followed by a question and answer forum and feedback opportunities.
