THUNDER BAY – Craig Ferguson seems to think he knows Thunder Bay. On his show last night on CBS, the Craig Ferguson Show, the comedian stated, “It’s nearly Scotland. .. A lot of people drunk and the weather’s bad.”
Well Craig, maybe its time you jumped on a plane, and wandered north to Canada and came to Thunder Bay!
Our city is a lot more than just like your former country!
You could enjoy some fresh baked Persians!
You could have some Sleeping Giant Soda! You could breakfast at the Hoito!
There is so much to do in Thunder Bay that I doubt you would find the time to seek out any Scots who were drunk.
As for our weather, well, depending on the day, you might be right, but it is our climate that makes Thunder Bay “Superior by Nature!”
