THUNDER BAY – Do you want to make your opinion heard? Tonight at the Da Vinci Centre starting at 6:00PM and going until 9:00PM the City is hosting a public meeting on the proposed Multiplex.
NetNewsledger.com and Morvision will host the event live-streamed online on the Internet so that even if you can not make it out to the event tonight, you can watch, and chat about the proposal.

The technology changes over the past several years allow this live-stream and interactive video via the Internet. Paul Morralee from Morvision in Thunder Bay, working with NetNewsledger.com and the City of Thunder Bay have live-streamed several events over the past year. The growing interest in the live-streaming broadcasts continues to grow.
The feed will be live starting at 6:00PM, but if you tune in earlier, you will likely see things starting to come together.

The Multiplex Facility Background Report: Phase One Study was completed in November 2009. The findings of this report along with a report from Deloitte & Touche LLP Report, Assessing the Potential of an OHL/AHL Hockey Franchise in Thunder Bay and was presented to Council on Dec. 14, 2009.

Council voted to move to a Phase 2 Feasibility Study including a project plan and budget, a detailed terms of reference for the Study, including preliminary conceptual design work, communications and public consultation.
The City Manager will report back to Council on the Phase 2 Feasibility Study when it is complete later in 2010.
