SUDBURY – On Saturday evening, Music and Film in Motion (MFM) announced the winners of the 2010 Northern Ontario Music and Film Awards at one of the North’s most anticipated annual events.

This year’s ceremony featured host Tricia Foster, performances from this year’s music nominees including Sault Ste Marie’s Kalle Mattson and North Bay’s Suzana Da Camara among other, film clips from “Vs.” by Sudbury’s Ben Bruhmuller, and a gala reception ended the evening in the Great Hall at Laurentian University.

“Tonight’s performances truly highlighted the depth of artistic talent that can be found here in Northern Ontario”, states Dennis Landry, Executive Director of MFM. “Through this program, we hope we can continue to help cultivate the growth of a vibrant and sustainable music and film industry for artists in the North”.
