This afternoon, Metzler filed her nomination papers with the City Clerk as a candidate for Councillor-at-large. “I believe our City has many opportunities to evolve into a vibrant, healthy, progressive community,” says Metzler. “If I want to make a difference to the future well-being of our City, the most significant way to contribute is to take an active role in decision-making at City Council level.”

Metzler outlined her election platform priorities:

• A diversified economy that supports meaningful jobs

• A community where people feel safe

• A taxation framework that is fair, affordable and transparent
