THUNDER BAY – When you are looking for a night out that will leave your friends wishing they had come to the party, there is no one in Thunder Bay better at putting together a party than Big Bang Fun.

In a city where some people complain there isn’t much to do, Jerry and Brian and the entire Big Bang Fun team prove them wrong.

On May 1st, the team is hosting the “Ultimate 80’s Party at the PA Prozz. The party promises to top last year’s bash which still has people wishing they had been smart enough to go.

It promises to be a crazy night of over the top fun. There are $500 in prizes up for grabs, and you will walk into the Prozz wondering if you are walking through a time machine taking you back to the era of big hair, big music and living larger than life.

Brian Cronk shares, “Throw in a wicked awesome band In Denile, put up a couple of huge video screens playing authentic 80’s Videos and you got yourself a Party folks. Oh – and it’s in support of the Thunder Bay Boys and Girls Club”.

That is one of the real pluses to all the events that Big Bang Fun hosts, they support local groups. That way not only can you party your face off, but you can support Thunder Bay too.

Jerry Hamel and Brian Cronk stopped by the NetNewsledger.com portal on Saturday to share some of the fun that is happening on May 1st, as well as looking forward to the summer and the Head Banger’s Ball.

All I can say is that if you don’t get your ticket early, you are going to be left behind.

You can get your tickets at a growing number of Thunder Bay businesses. And as a bonus, you get a  free coupon book with your advance purchase. Tickets are on sale for $10 at Rocket, PA Prozz, 31@ Junot, Fabutan locations, Mirror Mirror, Whole Nine Yards, Useful Things, Crock n Dial Sandwiches, New York Subway, Paramount Theatre, Vienna Bakery, The Picture Store, Steepers and Artist Chris Rantala.

Still not convinced? Check out the Coupon Book if you have to, but unless you want to be a “Joanie” or an “airhead” get your tickets early, before they are sold out!
