TBaytel Moves into Facebook Ads

There are over 50,000 people in the Thunder Bay region on Facebook. In an article titled "Right here, right now" NetNewsledger.com reported on the growing shift of advertisers out of traditional media into new media. This move by TBayTel represents perhaps the first major advertiser in the city to make that move. This shift may put enormous pressure on other advertisers, should the Facebook ads prove successful, in terms of pricing for their advertising. Across the world of advertising, new media options are continuing to grow in popularity.

Thunder Bay, ON -- TBayTel has taken another step in reaching out to get new customers. The company has started advertising on Facebook. The ads started showing up on the ever popular social networking site on Thursday.
