THUNDER BAY – Exploring significant historical, architectural, and cultural sites in Thunder Bay will be a digital experience for 2020. Beginning Sept. 1, through Nov. 30, experience the virtual Doors Open Thunder Bay which incorporates video, photography, archival images, web exhibits, and more that bring to life local meaningful places and stories. As Thunder Bay celebrates ‘One City. Fifty Years.’ many of this year’s sites showcase our community’s progress while also reflecting upon our past. This digital experience for 2020 can be accessed through the City of Thunder Bay website and is hosted online through the Doors Open Ontario website along with 38 other communities throughout the province.
